Welcome to the Family Birth Center!

The Family Birth Center is located on the second floor of the Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial entrance and Emergency Service wing. This state-of-the-art birthing facility offers modern birthing suites where your family can participate in a birth experience with experience staff and lovingly welcome your new baby into your lives. The Family Birth Center provides a setting where families can labor, deliver and recover within one birthing room - a birthing room where the OB staff has access to any medical equipment that might be needed for the safe care of the new mom and baby. Our moms enjoy the attention of a caring staff and can relax in our soothing Jacuzzi tubs. We take care of dad, too and he is welcome to stay all night.
