Giving to Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial

Improving the lives of others by improving their health is a noble investment. When you make a gift of your time and money to Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial, the return you receive is visible in the happy, healthy faces of our community.

Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial has been an integral part of the Newaygo County community for over 90 years. It is a major resource for those in need of emergency medical treatments, scheduled surgeries, diagnostic procedures, births, and a comfort for those recuperating in their homes.

We have been recognized, regionally, by the state and nationally for our outstanding quality services and programs that we offer our rural community:

  • Top 100 Hospital (1993, 1999 (small hospital and orthopedics), 2004 and 2005)
  • NRHA Outstanding Rural Healthcare Organization (2008)
  • 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work for in West Michigan (2008)
  • Governor’s Award for Excellence (‘03, ’04,’05, ’07, ‘09)
  • HealthGrades 5-Star Award for Excellence (Total Hip Replacement & Pulmonary Care)
  • HealthGrades Outstanding Customer Satisfaction Award

In order to keep our customers, family, friends and neighbors healthy, we must continue to provide and upgrade robust services, programs, equipment and facilities that our community needs and deserves. Patient and insurance payments do not cover the total costs of equipment and services we provide to diagnose and treat illnesses. Financial support from our community is necessary to help make up the difference.

All donations, both large and small, come together in a partnership with our dedicated medical staff to save lives, to provide treatments and procedures that are critical to the well-being of our families, friends, neighbors and visitors.

Why give?
Your gift will help reduce costs, provide access to healthcare for those who can’t afford it and improve care for all. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization which means that after expenses, we invest all revenues into our mission of providing competent, compassionate, community healthcare in Newaygo County.

We are eager to match your contributions with the programs and services you are most passionate about. If you’d like to learn more about how you can be the difference in someone’s improved health, please call 231.924.1102, or e-mail ssiegel@gmhs.org.

Every gift provides the care and skill that comforts the patients of Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial and their families every day. If you feel strongly about supporting the people who feel passionate about providing the best care possible to anyone who comes in contact with any service of Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial, then we offer you an invitation to partner with us. Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a difference in the health and well-being of our community. Your gift demonstrates your dedication to a healthy community for you, your family, friends and neighbors…now and for future generations.
