Raffle Results

August 4, 2006— Marcy Murray of Grant, won a hot air balloon ride that flew over the National Baby Food Festival on Friday night.

The raffle to win a ride in the RE/MAX hot air balloon was held by Gerber Memorial Health Services (GMHS), in association with RE/MAX Connection. The raffle raised $620 for GMHS. These proceeds will be put towards the purchase of a new treadmill for the Cardiac Rehab Center at GMHS.

The drawing for the raffle was held on July 18th on the main stage at the festival. The first raffle ticket drawn belonged to Doug Harmon, of the GMHS Board of Directors. Due to his position on the board, as well as having a previous commitment for the night of the balloon ride, Doug did not accept the prize. A second ticket was drawn. This ticket belonged to RE/MAX’s Associate Broker, Kurt Lowdermilk. Kurt also asked to have another ticket drawn due to his position with RE/MAX. The third ticket made Marcy Murray the ride winner.
