Volunteers

Volunteer Services recruits, trains and places volunteers throughout the hospital.

If you are interested in volunteering at GMHS, please call our Volunteer Coordinator at (231) 924-1350.

Volunteers help in most departments.

• Volunteers work on nursing floors helping patients and running errands for nursing staff.
• Volunteers deliver flowers and cards to patients' rooms.
• Volunteers staff the hospital Gift Shop and Coffee Shop

Funds raised through purchases in the Gift Shop and Coffee Shop allow the HAGS (Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop) members to provide equipment for various hospital departments annually.
