Anesthesiology

The department of Anesthesiology operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Its services, Anesthesia consultation and care, are available to anyone who qualifies for, and desires, treatment.

Patients Often Have a Choice

Patients often have a choice of which anesthesia they prefer. The department is administered by Thomas D. Baker, CRNA Chief Nurse Anesthetist with staff David Poel, CRNA and Jeffrey Hawker, CRNA.

The main services of Anesthesiology are:

• Providing general, regional, and local anesthesia for all elective and emergency surgeries to patients of all ages
• Offering conscious sedation for pain control and airway management
• Available for emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation
