A New Vision for Health and Healing

In an ongoing effort to continue its mission of providing competent, compassionate, community health care, Gerber Memorial Health Services (GMHS) invites you to share our Vision. We have created new medical wellness and physical rehabilitation center for everyone who wants to live a healthier life. This community center is giving people professional guidance and real-life, usable tools for improved health and healing in a compassionate, socially inviting environment.

WHY?

• The demand for wellness initiatives and physical rehabilitation programs is increasing rapidly as Baby Boomers age
• Michigan ranks as the 4th most obese state in the nation
• medical costs due to obesity and chronic illness (such as Diabetes) are expected to soar
• 50% of what drives a person’s health is “lifestyle”
• a healthy workforce will attract new businesses and more jobs

• Indoor Walking/Running Track
• Warm-Water Therapy Pool
• Whirlpool
• Educational Conference Rooms
• Cardio-vascular area featuring the latest,high-tech cardio equipment
• Fitness Testing Rooms
• Aerobic Studio/Movement Room
• Nutritional Teaching Kitchen
• Locker Facilities
• Fully-staffed Child Watch Facility
• Social Area with Juice Bar/Cafe
• Retail Health Shop

HOURS
Monday-Thursday: 5:30 am - 10:00 pm
Friday: 5:30 am - 9:00 pm
Saturday: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

WHO CAN JOIN? Everyone aged 14 and older!
General Public, Students, Seniors, Corporations, Gerber Memorial Associates, Volunteers, Physicians and Staff
